UPDATE: 12:00ET: “Footage from Globe reporter captures exchange of gun fire in Parliament Hill building”
UPDATE 11:04 ET: Police are reporting more shots fired, ordering everyone around the scene to immediately take cover.
We are seeing multiple reports out of Canadian of a possible lone wolf terror attack in which a Canadian soldier was shot and killed by a gunman near Canada’s Parliament building.
There may be multiple suspects and we are seeing some reports of continuous fire around Parliament.

There are unconfirmed reports that the gunman has been killed. However, there are also reports of continuing shots and by some news organizations. Parliament is currently on lockdown.

This would be the second lone wolf attack on Canadian soldiers in the last few days. Earlier this week, two Canadian soldiers were ran down by a suspected radical Islamist. That suspect was shot and killed by police following a short car chase.
