In light of a spree of Palestinian terror attacks against Israeli citizens, the Mayor of Jerusalem is asking his citizens to carry firearms and stay vigilant.

“In many cases,” said Mayor Nir Barkat, “those who neutralize terrorists in times like these are citizens, not police officers. I urge people who are allowed to carry weapons and are experienced in using them to carry their guns with them.”

“One of the advantages Israel has is that there are many veterans of military units with operational combat experience,” he said. “Having a weapon increases the resident’s confidence.”

Other Israeli leaders have showed support and said they believe people know how to defend themselves.

“Those who have weapons understand when to carry them,” Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai tells reporters. “There is no magic solution. We need cool heads.”

It seems Israel, the target of more terror attacks than any other nation in the world, understands the harsh reality that American gun rights advocates have discussed for years:

The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun… is a good guy with a gun.

Hunter's political beliefs are always evolving. Not really. He can be seen supporting whichever side has the hotter women so it's almost always the conservative side (have you seen the hippy chicks? Gross). When he's not writing he's celebrating the resurgence of his beloved Florida Gators and New York Mets.
