It was around 4:30p.m. when 911 dispatchers in Coos Bay, Oregon received a call from one of the burglars, still inside the home.
Why did the burglars call 911?
Because the homeowner was armed and holding the teenage criminals at gunpoint.
Officers were dispatched and took the trio of 14-year-olds into custody on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief, theft, and possession of marijuana. They were transported to the Douglas County Juvenile Detention Facility.
The 8-year-old sister of one of the boys was found outside the home. He was supposed to be babysitting her so police brought her to her parents house and released her into their custody.
