The Georgia Bureau of Investigation released mutiple bodycam videos of a officers shooting a suspect after having been struck by his car.

The camera starts with Towon Obryan Earl, 29, sitting in his car and responding officers saying, “we know this guy”. Earl has an extensive non-violent criminal history and was wanted on multiple outstanding warrants.

Moments later Earl backs up, striking Officer Michael Aguilar with the bumper of the vehicle. At the same time, the driver’s door hit Officer Ryan Vardman, forcing him to jump partially into the car to avoid getting run over. Earl then accelerated forward, striking Corporal Deal Spata with the door, pushing Vardman further into the vehicle.

After swerving around a van, Earl crashes into an apartment building and officer Raymond Harralson fires four times, striking him several times.

As officers tried to remove him from the vehicle, Earl was tangled up in his seatbelt for several minutes.

According to police, they found a 9mm Hi-Point firearm, a Crown Royal bag containing a digital scale, several plastic baggies, 80.6 grams of marijuana, and 8 grams of crushed Xanax.

Both the gun and the vehicle were reported Stolen from Alabama.

Earl has an extensive criminal record for non-violent offenses now faces new charges, including three counts of aggravated assault on a police officer, one count each of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, theft by receiving stolen property, theft by receiving stolen property from another state and possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute.
