You have to give it to self-avowed socialist and Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders… he sticks to his crazy all the way.

While every rational person in the world believes the government already spends too much money, Sanders thinks we should double the national debt in an effort to apparently remove any semblance of a work ethic from the American people.

In his latest rant, Sanders said told George Stephanopoulos that “we are going to have a tax on Wall Street speculation… [and] we are going to ask Trump and his billionaire friends to pay more taxes.”

Of course, his actual plan is to increase payroll taxes across the board, undermining his populist message of only taxing the rich.

When Stephanopoulos pointed out that an increase in payroll tax hurts everyone across the board, Sanders simply agrees.

So despite all his rhetoric and the plethora of college students who are caught up in propaganda rather than substance, Bernie isn’t a modern day Robin Hood, he’s simply another tax and spend liberal who thinks the magical money fairy simply puts it in the government coffers to spend on whatever strikes his fancy.

About Hunter Roosevelt

Hunter's political beliefs are always evolving. Not really. He can be seen supporting whichever side has the hotter women so it's almost always the conservative side (have you seen the hippy chicks? Gross). When he's not writing he's celebrating the resurgence of his beloved Florida Gators and New York Mets.
