Huma Abedin, who has been a longtime aide of Hillary Clinton, had reportedly worked for a radical Muslim publication for over a decade. Various articles were written during her tenure there that included anti-feminist views and went as far as to blame the United States for 9/11.

Clinton claims on her website that one of her biggest accomplishment was her speech at the UN in Bejing, famously stating, “Women’s rights are human rights.” Women’s rights have been a central point in her political career and in this presidential campaign.

However her top campaign aide’s writings tried to rationalize domestic violence claiming that “the stress and frustrations that men encounter in their daily lives,” was a probable excuse to assault a women. Abedin continued explaining, “More men are victims of domestic violence than women . . . If we see the world through ‘men’s eyes’ we will find them suffering from many hardships and injustices.”

In a January 1996 article, Abedin’s mother, who was the Muslim World League’s delegate to the UN conference, wrote that Clinton and other speakers at the UN were “very aggressive and radically feminist.” Abedin’s mother claimed that Clinton’s and other speakers’ views were anti-Muslim and should not be supported.

In 2002 Abedin’s mother wrote an anti-America article in which she claimed that Americans had 9/11 coming to them and that they were doomed because they had “sanctions” against Iraq and other “injustices” against the Muslim population. An excerpt reads as followed: “The spiral of violence having continued unabated worldwide, and widely seen to be allowed to continue, was building up intense anger and hostility within the pressure cooker that was kept on a vigorous flame while the lid was weighted down with various kinds of injustices and sanctions . . . It was a time bomb that had to explode and explode it did on September 11, changing in its wake the life and times of the very community and the people it aimed to serve.”

Huma Abedin said in a recent interview that she doesn’t apologize for her mother’s views.“My mother was traveling around the world to these international women’s conferences talking about women’s empowerment, and it was normal.”

Are these articles that Huma Abedin helped edit and publish just now being examined? For a woman who famously supports women’s rights, why would Clinton choose Abedin as her aide? However, by all accounts, Abedin has been Clinton’s most loyal and longstanding aide. The contradictions are hard to overlook. The Clinton’s campaign has remained silent on these startling reports. Could this play a part in the election in November? Only time will tell.'
