When the FBI Director, Jim Comey, re-opened the Hillary Clinton email investigation, many would have guessed a few feathers would be ruffled in the Democratic party. But a Fox News anchor coming to Clinton’s aid? That was surprising.
Fox News anchor, Jeanine Pirro, stood in alliance with Clinton on this controversial issue after she was subject to the same practices in her campaign for New York Attorney General in 2006.

Pirro, the host of “Justice With Judge Jeanine,” has long stood by Republican Nominee Donald Trump and still does, but she had a few choice words for the FBI director’s handling, or depending on how you may look at it, mishandling of the case. The former judge held back no punches in her attack on Comey.
In the opening monologs of her show Pirro commented on the FBI director’s decision to re-open the case now in light of newly discovered emails. She said it, “disgraces and politicizes the FBI and is symptomatic of all that is wrong in Washington.”
Pirro added, “Comey’s actions violate not only long-standing Justice Department policy, the directive of the person that he works under, the attorney general. But even more important, the most fundamental rules of fairness and impartiality.”
Pirro knows all too well about the FBI going on “witch hunts” as she was subject to this same action during her campaign for New York Attorney General. Pirro claimed that the Justice Department, in collaboration with the FBI, announced to the media that they were investigating her.
The anchor acknowledged it was “mean-spirited and, of course, nothing came of it, except the adverse publicity cost me at the polls.”
“What was done to me in 2006 was wrong, and what happened to Hillary Clinton [Friday], was equally wrong,” Pirro said. “Now, this nation has already gone through an exhausting and traumatic campaign season. The FBI director should not now be front and center.”
